In Purnia district, SP Upendra Nath Verma ordered to stop the salary of 75 policemen at once. This action has been taken due to negligence in the execution of cases. This action has created panic in the police department and there is panic among the policemen.
The SP made it clear that if these policemen do not improve their working style, then strict action will be taken against them, and they can also be suspended. This action is being considered a big step to bring awareness in the police department. This order of the SP has created an atmosphere of fear among the policemen and they have been forced to improve their working style.
Among the police officers whose salaries have been stopped by SP Upendra Nath Verma, the highest number of these includes eight police officers from Maranga police station, seven police officers each from Barhara Kothi and Tika Patti and Bhawanipur, and six police officers each from Muffasil and Aamour police station.
The 75 police officials whose salaries have been stopped at once include Virendra Kavi, Ranjan Kumar, Vijay Pandit, Deepak Kumar, Vilat Paswan and Shivam Kumar of Bikothi police station. Shambhu Prasad, Ranvijay Kumar, Satendra Kumar Singh, Manoj Kumar Sah, Chandrabhushan Prasad, Janardan Prasad and Sanno Praveen of Bhawanipur police station. Santu Singh, Kateswar Nath Pandey of Rupauli police station, Sameer Kumar, Krishna Kumar Singh, Raj Kumar Ram, Dadan Kumar, Upendra Kumar of Tikapatti police station. The police officials of Kenagar police station whose salaries have been stopped include Sangeeta Kumar, Babudin, Satyadev Thakur, Soni Kumari, Ranjit Paswan and Shambhu Paswan of Kasba police station, Priya Kumari, Ajit Kumar Das, Sudarshan Ram of Sadar police station. Abhay Ranjan, Mohd. of Manarga police station. Chand Mansuri, Nandji Prasad, Manoj Kumar Paswan, Uttam Kumar Vishnukant, Pappu Kumar and Sangeeta Kumari are included.
The SP has stopped the salary of 75 police officers. Even after the completion of investigation of 125 cases, charge sheets have not been submitted in the court. Among these, the highest number of charge sheets are with Assistant Sub Inspector Islamuddin of Barhara Kothi. He has five such cases in which charge sheets have not been submitted even after the completion of investigation. Similarly, Assistant Sub Inspector Jai Prakash Yadav of Tikapatti police station did not submit charge sheets even after the completion of investigation of three cases. Police Sub Inspector Sushmita Kumari of Rupauli police station has two cases pending after the completion of investigation. Police Sub Inspector Snehil of Tikapatti police station did not submit charge sheets even after the completion of investigation of four cases. He has not been given charge sheets of police station case numbers 80/2024, 81/2024, 83/2024 and 84/2024. Considering such negligence as a serious crime, the SP has ordered to stop the salary.
